Situated just south of Campbell River, British Columbia, Storey Creek Golf Club is internationally renowned for its stunningly picturesque and challenging, yet playable Les Furber design. Pheasant Glen Golf Resort

Grassy meadows, west coast woodlands, and a spectacular view of Mount Arrowsmith provide a natural backdrop to this tried and trusted Championship golf experience on Vancouver Island. Pheasant Glen is a traditional walkable golf course set in a beautiful meadow and pine forest at the foot of Mount Arrowsmith.  Renowned for its lush fairways and excellent greens, golfers enjoy a “Walk Through Nature” — trees, not homes line our fairways.

The course was started by Doug Carrick in 1990 and completed with a multi-million dollar rebuild by Frank Russell in 2005. Every hole has 5 tees, each designed to accommodate a player’s individual ability. We encourage everyone to play the proper yardage for their skill level. Take advantage of our generous landing areas designed to give every player a real chance to hit the green in regulation.

Campbell River Golf Course

In April 2017, the Campbell River Golf Club began its journey on a 14-month restoration under one of Canada’s most successful and renowned golf course architects — Graham Cooke of Northern Golf Design. The formerly Sequoia Springs Golf Course remerged as a gorgeous 18-hole, 6,100-yard resort-style course with gorgeous rolling fairways and airy spaces with more than 200 trees. The meticulously kept grounds are complimented by stunning landscaping that encompass several water features.

The golf course has been completely rebuilt from tee to green and the driving range was the first in Western Canada to employ Toptracer range technology. Campbell River Golf Club is a locally owned, innovative and inclusive club that strives to welcome everyone and make golf approachable to all. The course is also part of the Vancouver Island Golf Trail.

Cordova Bay Golf Course

Cordova Bay Golf Course: a Hidden Gem in Victoria, BC

A Course Designed for All Skill Levels

Cordova Bay Golf Course is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and well-maintained fairways. The course is set alongside the ocean, and its wide fairways are well protected by towering Douglas fir and Western red cedar trees. The course’s excellent drainage ensures optimal playing conditions year-round, even during the wetter months.

Learn and Play with Expert Instruction

For those looking to improve their game, Cordova Bay Golf Course features The Studio at Cordova Bay, a state-of-the-art learning centre equipped with the latest launch monitor technology and fitting equipment from Callaway and PING. The PARC Short Game Practice Facility, located at the Ridge Course, features a massive putting green with a 9-hole putting course, two chipping greens, and a practice bunker. This facility allows golfers to work on various aspects of their short game, including putting, chipping, and bunker shots.

Embracing Local Agriculture

A standout feature of Cordova Bay Golf Course is its “fairway-to-table” initiative. Approximately 20 years ago, the course transformed a small, unused portion of land beside the 15th tee box into a thriving vegetable garden.

This garden has since expanded, providing fresh produce, flowers, and honey to the club’s restaurant, Bill Mattick’s. The course also boasts a small orchard, home to heritage fruit trees that yield apples and pears used in house-made chutneys, butters, jellies, and jams.

As a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, Cordova Bay Golf Course is dedicated to preserving local wildlife and promoting biodiversity. The gardens support the production of wildflower honey, which is sold year-round in the pro shop.

The clubhouse provides a welcoming atmosphere with a full-service restaurant and bar, offering a selection of meals and beverages. On sunny evenings, the terrace becomes a popular spot for golfers to relax and enjoy the view.

Whether you’re teeing off amidst towering trees, savoring a meal made from locally grown produce, or honing your skills with expert guidance, Cordova Bay Golf Course offers an experience that goes beyond the game. Visit and discover why it’s a cherished destination for golfers and nature enthusiasts alike.

Golfing El Cortes in La Paz

Golfing El Cortes Golf Club in La Paz

long outdoor covered swimming pool with bright blue water
Swimming pool with 2 white umbrellas and palm trees
Outdoor swimming pool beside a sandy beach

Exploring the golf courses in La Paz, Mexico was recommended by our long-standing clients from Washington State and the golf course did not disappoint. El Cortez is a two-hour drive north of Los Cabos, located on the Sea of Cortez. The city is 40 feet above sea level making the climate ideal for hot, dry days and cool nights.

The Course & Club

El Cortes Golf Club opened in 2018 and is the country’s first Gary Player Signature golf course. The layout has dramatic elevation changes highlighted with stands of cacti and has a unique “desert-by-the-sea” feel. The course is challenging but will appeal to a wide range of skill levels with elevated tees, wide fairways, and approachable greens. El Cortes Golf Club’s par-5 14th is one of the most memorable holes since it requires an accurate shot to a fairway situated 200 feet below (see photo), it is the most intimidating tee shot on the golf course. The course features a mix of long par 4s, short par 3s, and risk-reward par 5s, all designed to challenge golfers to use a variety of clubs and strategies.

El Cortes Golf Club is a must play, whether it’s a day trip from Los Cabos or a few nights’ stay at Hotel Indigo and Beach Club that re-opened in 2024 after an extensive renovation. Hotel Indigo is an IHG hotel’s Luxury collection equipped with spa-like bathrooms, large balconies with panoramic views of the golf course, and the Sea of Cortez. The hotel has 3 restaurants and world-class marina and other fine dining restaurants steps away from the resort.

If staying a couple of days in Puerta Cortez, Paraiso del Mar is La Paz’s first golf course that is surrounded by miles of unspoiled beaches located ½ hour from the resort community. It’s another 18-hole championship golf course and rated one of the best golfing outings in the Baja.
